This portrait of Alfred Hitchcock (born in Leytonstone) is made from eggshells. Its for a group show at Artefacto during the Leytonstone arts trail. The theme for the show is Hitchcock's phobias. He once told an interviewer 'I'm frightened of eggs,' giving me the idea for the piece. Come & see it and other Hitchcock themed pieces at the Private view on July 3rd, 7-11pm. Artefacto, 476 High Road Leytonstone, London, E11 3HN. I'll upload pictures of the final framed piece when its back from the framers!
If you can't make the PV the trail dates & hours are: 4-13 July. Tues-Sat 11-7pm, Sunday 12-5pm.
