  • Prime Example | Set in stone group show | 4 - 13th July 2014

    Concrete & white marbles arranged in Ulams spiral. 74 x 74cm, 5cm deep. This is my piece for the ‘Set in stone’ group show as part of the Leytonstone arts trail. Please come to the private view opening Friday 4th July 6-9pm at the Leytonstone tube station. The show is organised by the Creative Bloc group that meet every Monday morning. The Bloccers are hoping to see you all at this fantastic showcase of local talent. Exhibiting in the well located 'Mind The Gap Gallery' at Leytonstone tube it's a breeze to get to!
  • Eggshell Hitchock | Leytonstone Arts Trail | 4th - 13th July, 2014

    I have created a portrait of Alfred Hitchcock (born in Leytonstone) made from eggshells. Its for a group show at Artefacto during the Leytonstone arts trail. The theme for the show is Hitchcock's phobias. He once told an interviewer 'I'm frightened of eggs,' giving me the idea for the piece.   • Take a mallet to a pallet | Blackhorse workshop | 7th June - 20th July, 2014

    I'm really pleased to announce that I took second prize in the innovative design category for the Blackhorse Workshop Challenge. The challenge was to create 'something' from a single pallet. I won 3 months of workshop usage so expect some more pallet madness soon! I also sold him on the opening night! Hugh thanks to all at the Blackhorse workshop for putting on a great competition and a great opening night. You can see a video and pictures of my entry in the projects section of the site.
  • Soporific Marketers | Slate photography exhibition | 17th May - 28th June, 2014

    I'm happy to announce that my photographic series has been selected for The Slate. It is a fantastic window space in Leytonstone high street. The show is free to view and open 24/7 as it faces the street through the windows. Heres a bit more about it: Whilst traveling in South East Asia Woodie became interested in the number of sleeping stall owners he came across in the markets.   • Yard life festival, Islington | 19th - 20th April 2014

    I am excited to announce that I will be exhibiting an automaton sculpture at the Yard life festival in Islington. I have created a working Maquette that can be seen in 'random projects' section.   • Kaghan Memorial Trust Auction | March/April 2014

    Donated for an art exhibition & auction in Pakistan to raise money for the education charity www.kmt.org.pk. Hopefully enabling them to build a new girls school. I used traditional female bridal mehndi designs to represent the spreading of knowledge from the region of the new school. Click the images to view in lightbox mode.
  • StoneSpace group show | 9th Jan - 2nd Feb, 2014

    My piece "Winnie" was featured in the StoneSpace group show from 9th January to 2nd February. The piece is made by drilling a pattern of different sized holes in a square piece of wood and positioning marbles in those holes. More images in the 'marbles' section.
  • Lost Soles exhibition, Covent Garden | 14th - 22nd Sept 2013

    I am exhibiting a number of my 'Flip without Flop' images (that can be found in the random projects section) as part of the 'Lost Soles' exhibition in Covent Garden. A pop-up gallery forming part of the London Design Festival 2013 from 14 – 22 September 2013. I will also be creating artwork to be auctioned for charity.
